□ Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Changes in Warfare

- The use of AI technology in modern conflicts such as the Russo-Ukrainian War and the Israel-Gaza Conflict heralds a new era in the nature of warfare and the global security environment.

- Changes in war and military innovation in the AI era are key topics in military security research today.


□ “How are the world's major military powers promoting AI-based military innovation?”

- The world is pursuing AI-based military innovation. Republic of Korea's 'Defense Innovation 4.0' also aims to become a strong AI science and technology military.

- Accordingly, this study analyzes the strategies and specific implementation of AI military innovation centered on the world's five major military powers - the United States, Russia, China, India, and the United Kingdom. It also includes Israel, a leader in AI military innovation, and NATO, a multilateral alliance.

- This is a joint research report in which seven foreign scholars, who are experts in the military field, participated and analyzed cases of AI military innovation in various countries. It introduces the direction, structure, and policies of AI military innovation worldwide, discusses implications, and derives suggestions.
