Greetings,
I'm Kim Ki-sik,
the President of the National Assembly Future Institute.

Korea, which is evaluated as having achieved both industrialization and democratization among independent countries after the war, is currently facing a major structural crisis both internally and externally.

As the U.S.- China competition for supremacy continues in the era of tax evasion, concerns are raised about whether our economy and industry will be able to maintain competitiveness at the level of advanced economies in the future, and it is also necessary to think deeply about how to deal with the deepening new Cold War confrontation over the Korean Peninsula. In addition, the decline in population and changes in the demographic structure due to low birthrates require fundamental innovation that is different from the existing policy stance not only in the welfare system but also in all areas of our society.

The National Assembly Future Institute is a research institute funded by the National Assembly, the foundation of representative democracy and the Hall of the People, and intends to present the 'National Future Vision Strategy' by fiercely considering how the Republic of Korea will proceed in the future. Furthermore, we intend to establish a foundation for consensus among the public, social, political, and conservative progressives and expand consensus through various communication channels. We will do our best to communicate and cooperate so that the research results made by the National Assembly Future Institute can be reflected in the legislation and government policies of the National Assembly and win public sympathy.
